Registration / Method of Payment / Application for financial Aid

Registration desk

The registration desk is located on the ground floor in front of the lecture room "Köpenick". The opening hours are:

June, 26 (Sunday) 14:00 - 18:30
June, 27 (Monday) 08:00 - 10:00
June, 28 (Tuesday) 08:30 - 09:30
June, 29 (Wednesday) 08:30 - 09:30
June, 30 (Thursday) 08:30 - 09:30

The online registration is closed since May 16, 2011.

Registration fee for participants

  - 460 EUR until April 15, 2011 
  - 560 EUR thereafter

This fee includes welcome reception on Sunday (June 26, 2011), coffee breaks,lunch, dinner, admission to all sessions, abstract book, conference (workshop) dinner and boat trip on Tuesday (June 28, 2011). The registration deadline is May 15, 2011.

Registration fee for an accompanying person

• 150 EUR per adult
This fee includes dinner at all days, conference (workshop) dinner and boat trip on Tuesday (June 28, 2011). The mentioned meals are performed together with the participants.

• optionally: 80 EUR lunch fee (includes lunch at all days)

• If you intend to arrive together with additional accompanying people (e.g. with your children) please contact the organizing committee at iwcgt5@ikz-berlin.de to get information concerning a special registration fee.

Financial Aid

• A limited amount of financial aid will be available for PhD students or researchers in a postdoc position.

• Interested PhD students/postdoc researchers should apply for such a financial aid until December 31, 2010 by submitting to the organizing committee

  - 2-page abstract for their poster presentation as described in the abstract section

  - copy of a certificate of the final degree

  - letter of recommendation of the supervising professor or head of department by describing the distinguished scientific results of the applicant.

• The decision about granting a financial aid will be sent out until January 31, 2011.

For our participants we offer two different methods of payment.

Cancellation

• Cancellation of registration will be free of charge before May 10, 2011.

• Thereafter the cancellation fee will be 15,00 EUR.

• No refund will be possible in the case of cancellation after May 31, 2011.
